The Friends of the Castroville Public Library is a non-profit 501c(3)
organization established to support the Castroville Public Library.
The purpose of the Friends of the Castroville Public
Library is to gather community members interested in the library and the
services that it provides Castroville and the surrounding area.
Friends of the Castroville Public Library support the work
of the library in many ways including:
- Volunteering at the library.
- Volunteering time to lead programs for children and adults such as story time, book clubs or classes.
- Supporting Jr. Friends in their activities.
- Donating items to support the on-going book sale
or money towards the memorial book fund.
Friends of the Castroville Public Library meet at least once
a quarter.
Along with library staff,
members plan upcoming events including cultural and educational programs and
community fundraisers.
Become a friend of the Castroville Public Library because
you can never have too many friends.
