Library Book Clubs

Once a month the library hosts two book clubs. Many adults in the community gather to vocalize their thoughts, criticisms, & opinions on books the group has chosen to read. Each club has picked a variety of books to read in the past from westerns to classics to romances to fiction to current trendy titles to anything in between.  Choose the time that works best for you & come to share in a fun experience, meet a great group of people, and share in a love of reading.

Preschool Programs

Storytime with Handwriting without Tears and Signing Time!
Wednesdays 10:30 to 11:30 am

Our math- and science-based Storytime is back and will be integrated with the Handwriting without Tears and Signing Time! programs. A theme or letter of the day will be incorporated each week to create a fun learning environment. The learning hour will be aligned with Texas Pre-Kindergarten Guidelines and will be adapted to the audience – that means children from infants to preschoolers are welcome with their parents and caregivers.

The always-popular Music Makers is returning at a new time! Music Makers will be at the library every Thursday during the school session. Join us for music, dancing, rhymes, and other activities revolving around themes that your children will love. Help your kids develop healthy habits as they move, shake and sing.
